March Ahead offers immediate appointment availability with no waitlist for ongoing clinical psychiatric care. Veterans can access comprehensive treatment including diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and coordination with other healthcare providers. Both Telehealth and in-person options are available.
Comprehensive Psychiatric Services
At March Ahead, we provide specialised psychiatric services tailored to the unique needs of
Australian veterans. Our psychiatrists bring extensive experience in trauma-related conditions,
depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, and other service-related mental health challenges.
Clinical care includes comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and
treatment planning.
While our focus is on psychiatry, we recognise that some veterans may benefit from additional
disciplines. Where appropriate, we can refer to psychologists for evidence-based therapies, or to
social workers for assistance with family, community, and welfare matters.
This model ensures psychiatric care remains central, while also facilitating access to broader,
evidence-based services that address the full scope of challenges faced by veterans.
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Services
At March Ahead, we have expertise in assessing and diagnosing traumatic brain injuries (TBI)
and their impact on veteran mental health. We understand that TBI can affect cognitive
functioning, mood, behaviour, and overall well-being, often overlapping with conditions such as
PTSD, depression, and anxiety.
When TBI is identified, we ensure that veterans are connected with the most appropriate
management and rehabilitation pathways. This may include referrals to neuropsychologists,
neurologists, rehabilitation physicians, or specialist TBI rehabilitation programs. By linking
veterans with targeted services, we help facilitate access to the right expertise for recovery,
rehabilitation, and long-term well-being.
